Dr. N. Barathi, 62, Agriculture Scientist for the past 40 years, conducted Applied research in Bamboo for 20 years to increase the yield and industrial application of bamboo Power, Bio-CNG, Bio-Petrol/Diesel, Bio-Ethanol, and cement production. “Member & Advisor” in the Bamboo Steering Committee of Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka. Exporter of Tissue culture bamboo plants to 25 different countries for the last 20 years.

Dr. Barathi is the Founder Director of Growmore Biotech Ltd., certified by DBT-GOI and accredited by AQIS-Australia. Growmore Biotech was a “Technology Partner” for National Mission on Bamboo Applications, GOI. Dr. Barathi is a Member of the INBAR Task Force on Sustainable Bamboo Management for a period of 2 years and an advisor on the Board of several companies, Education institutions.
