I am a Website Developer based out of Bangalore.
Being a Bamboo enthusiast, I couldn't find information about Bamboo products and services online.
So I created this platform as a first step to find Bamboo related organizations in India.
This is a not-for-profit venture to promote sustainable materials.

Why Bamboo Matters

Bamboo is one of the fastest-growing renewable materials on Earth. It regenerates naturally, captures high amounts of carbon, and supports rural livelihoods without harming forests.
Across India, bamboo is transforming from a “poor man’s timber” to a premium sustainable resource — in furniture, packaging, housing, energy, and design.

By bridging the information gap, Bamboo Sahi Hai supports the movement towards a greener, more circular bamboo economy.

Our Story

2024: The Beginning

Founded in Bengaluru, India, Bamboo Sahi Hai began with a simple question:
“If bamboo can do so much, why is reliable information so hard to find?”
What started as a small collection of links and contacts quickly grew into a vision for a unified digital space dedicated to India’s bamboo ecosystem.

2025: Growing Together

From humble beginnings, Bamboo Sahi Hai has become India’s most comprehensive digital directory for the bamboo sector — entirely community-driven and free from commercial sponsorship.

Today: Empowering the Ecosystem

Our passionate team continues to expand listings, validate resources, and collaborate with experts nationwide, ensuring the platform remains updated, reliable, and a trusted source of bamboo knowledge.
