Balaghat Bamboo Foundation Baihar, M.P.

Balaghat district contributes more than 90% of the total bamboo production of Madhya Pradesh.
C.F.C. [Common Facility Center] for Bamboo at Baihar, North (T) Balaghat Forest Division was established in year 2014, under Madhya Pradesh State Bamboo Mission with an aim to provide basic common facilities for bamboo working to bamboo artisans of Balaghat thereby providing them livelihood and to give impetus to bamboo usage.

Various bamboo products shown in this catalogue are made at C.F.C. Baihar by these bamboo artisans, who mostly belong to Baiga tribe.
Advanced machineries and equipment setup under C.F.C. Baihar, facilitate the adequate treatment and machining of bamboo to ensure superior quality and finish of these bamboo products.
