A batch of IFS 1984 (retd), Former PCCF (HoFF) Karnataka (2018-2020). He has been involved in the promotion of Bamboo for its social, ecological industrial, and economic benefits during his career and is an expert in the management of bamboo forests, raising bamboo plantations, bamboo Agro-Forestry, marketing, and utilization.

As head of Karnataka State, National Bamboo Mission for two years, he actively promoted the programs of the mission for the benefit of the public. Believes there’s tremendous scope for the bamboo sector and should be actively promoted.
